Elon Musk is telling his followers to cancel Netflix subscriptions. Here’s what’s happening
The Live Info Media
Elon Musk has called on his followers to cancel their Netflix subscriptions, saying it’s for “the health of your kids.” His post on X (formerly Twitter) came in response to claims that Netflix is promoting a “transgender woke agenda,” specifically pointing to the animated show Dead End: Paranormal Park, which features a transgender character. Although the show was cancelled in 2023 after two seasons, it has recently drawn criticism from conservative voices online.
Musk also reacted to accusations that the show’s creator, Hamish Steele, had made comments mocking the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk — a claim Steele has not directly addressed. Responding on the platform Bluesky, Steele said, “It’s probably going to be a very odd day,” and shared a message of support from a fellow writer who called Dead End a “brilliant show about kind , wonderful characters.”
